I live with someone that is obese. They have some health issues; fibromyalgia, degenerative arthritis, ligmentatia, herniated c3 & 4 spinal disks causing pain from the shoulders down their back. Now, the degeneration of this persons health is the quandry. Did the body fail because of a lack of physical activity or did the injuries sustained when younger have anything to do with it? But as far as "making fun" of obese people, nah! Not something I would do or would consider. Now, I am with you Caferacer on those that hit the gym or are walking or biking. I don't care if you were spandex and a tube top while you are 650lbs. You are at least trying. What kills me, is that many obese people get so discouraged after only a short time in the gym. I can not deal with anyone that does not have the drive to see something through. Regardless of weight.
