Poobs has a good point....a good trainer goes a long ways. At 17 bro, your green, and that not an insult. Training for strength, PL, BB, whatever all have similar concepts, but need different attributes to make whichever one more successful.
Supplement wise @ 17 use Kre-Alayn if you use creatine....you will get MUCH BETTER strength gains with 0 water retention, and you can get some caps for cheap. My .02 as well.
