Not sure on this, but i heard before if you take weight gainer prior to workout you are more prone to put on fat then muscle...not sure the logistics behind this, but figured i put it out there. I honestly don't think he needs to get 2200 additional calories per day, and if you do then your diet is way out of line. All in all, this is a horrible weight gainer and you really should revaluate your diet and need be, buy some pro complex, cytogainer, or even muscle milk.
