Thats exactlly how I felt! This guy is just an aqquantince of mine, and we have this damn debate everytime the issue is brought up....he's kinda one of those dumb asses who thinks the only reason we're over in Iraq is because of the oil. IMO we have established ourselves (USA) as the most powerful economic and military leader basically in the world. As such we are kinda the " big brother " to other small nations ie:Iraq. Meaning look around you do you enjoy being able to say whatever the **** you want to say....do you enjoy being able to bash the president (if you wish to) and not get killed for doing so.....do you enjoy the freedom to make every single solitary decision in your life (minus being illegal) and not be punished for it....these are just a few things I enjoy and respect the military for fighting for. These soilders fight for "FREEDOM" - people dont realize it might not always be "our" freedom, it might be a smaller nation like Iraq "the ****hole" that needs us to step in a kick the sh*t out of the government and give it back to where it belongs. I dont believe we are there for nothing - I believe we are there for what every human being deserves "FREEDOM!"
