Thanks for the comments/suggestions =)
Well, I never said my testosterone level were "low." I just said that my body could probably release more. No need to see a doctor. It's kind of a feeling I have, that my body is capable of releasing more.
hrpiii, if ZMA helps me get a better nights sleep, then it is definitely worth it! Thanks.
Taekwondo Guy, facial hair IS linked to testosterone. No doubt, plenty of information available on the internet regarding this. And, nope... not gay. Thanks for the comments.
stb24, thanks a lot man... I was hoping for a response from someone who has tried one or both of these supplements. It sounds like it is working for you, and you're around the same age... So maybe it will work for me also. I'm going to look further into those brands you suggested. Thanks again!
I don't understand why everyone assumes that because someone is under 30/40, their bodies release the "natural peak" of testosterone. And that is is somehow unnatural and I should see a doctor. If you've tried it, and it didn't work that's one thing, but if you haven't and then telling me it will not work doesn't carry much weight. I'm not trying to argue or anything.
From what I understand... Your brain sends a signal telling your body "make testosterone" and sends another signals "stop, that's enough." Stop? No, keep going!
Tribulus indirectly sends that signal saying "make more!"
ZMA contains Zinc, Magnesium and B6. Foods like beef liver, and oysters are rich in those minerals. I personally don't eat a lot of red meat, and certainly not liver or oysters. (reason being is that red meat isn't as healthy as the other meats, and is an incredibly inefficient use of resources.) I take multi-vitamins regularly, but these minerals don't absorb well when taken with calcium for example. People who eat a lot of red meat (or liver) may not get anything out of ZMA (or creatine which I take for the same reason.)
Lastly, there aren't many side effects for either of these supplements. I can deal with acne.
