Hey
Body for Life is a good introductory workout/diet thing. I personally had to modify the hell out of it because my main goal is to be a strong martial artist so I can't blow out in the gym and then expect to do well in training. Also, I try not to eat "made up" foods like Myoplex. I like to keep it natural and I think that helps my body stay in balance and metabolize fat better...that's just for me. Also, I need more cardio and more cardio variety than he prescribes.
Having said that, it is an awesome intro to working out and how to eat and train to look really awesome. Almost all of it can be found, both the food and the workouts, on the body for life website.
Just remember, in the first 4-5 weeks, the changes take place underneath your fat and your muscles get more solid. Then your muscles eat your fat and boom presto, your tummy is gone. It takes patience. Let me know how it goes...
