Metabolism
Hi,
Maybe someone can help me out here. I quit smoking in January and I feel really great. I've always smoked and I have always worked out with weights. The only thing is I have gained 12 lbs. I went from 130lbs to 142. I am 5"6 I've joined a gym and I'm lifting. 3 sets of everything 15 reps each set. I also do the treadmill 35 min at least 4 days a week. I do yoga at least 3x a week. My upper body is starting to shape up nicely but I am accumulating this little roll of fat around my waist line (when I sit it rolls over the top of my pants.) I can't seem to get rid of it. I've never been fat EVER I've always eaten anything I've wanted to. I'm really trying to put things into perspective. My age is 46 so maybe that has something to do with it also. Anyway maybe I just need help with a workout routine or maybe even DIET. I've never had a diet. I can't seem to get organized when I go to the gym I do the exact thing everyday. HELP
