Basically true.
I get in arguments on a myspace messageboard all the time with people who prefer volume training over intensity. In fact I think I'm the only one who does one set to failure training on that board and I don't think anyone had heard of DC style until I posted a link. I always get into arguments with this one dude who uses Arnold's routines as backup for his POV. He's always like, "Arnold used to go out into the woods and do sets of 100 squats with 225 pounds so clearly volume is superior and it's the amount of work that you do that determines how big you get." I try to use science and logic and he cites bodybuilding routines and techniques from the 70's. When I said that I only do one-two sets to failure per bodypart per workout he was like, "that's not a workout, why even go to the gym."
By the way did I mention that I hate volume routines? I also can't stand people that don't listen to logic and science.
