And I only have one thing to say about LUCA:
The Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA), is a hypothetical organism supposed to be the most recent common ancestor of all living organisms on Earth. The existence of such a life-form has come into doubt as mounting scientific evidence points to a picture of a primordial community of organisms exchanging hereditary information. It is also believed that multiple endosymbiotic events would distort the cladistic representation of such an organism if it were to ever have existed.
Evolution is a THEORY.
LUCA is a HYPOTHESIS.
There is a difference.
As such, LUCA is not part of the evolution THEORY; it is a HYPOTHESIS within the evolution THEORY, one of SEVERAL HYPOTHESES concerning common descent.
Not only that, but mounting evidence suggest that LUCA is WRONG.
