jiujitsugirl has a spectacular aura about
Default Couldn't agree with Phat Chick More....

I think it could be either way....either her diet is too low in cals/ fats/ proteins, or......it's some sneaky chocolate cake that's not making it's way onto her post..........for me, I didn't lose fat for a long time, and kept thinking I was eating a certain way, but when I actually wrote down and counted calories, I was eating sooo much more than I thought, consistently. I mean there were days when I was getting well over 3500 calories, like well over, and I thought I was on a V8 fast. But once I wrote it down, I just reigned in the dessert, and it was almost overnight that I lost weight

Again, I really don't want to sound like I'm advocating a low calorie diet. I think the ZigZag diet post in the nutrition forum is a really smart idea. For myself, I eat more carbs in the morning, and less in the evening. In fact, here, I'll post my diet...it's worked for me and it might help someone else.

Meal 1
1 egg
1/2 cup of dry oatmeal cooked with water
1/2 grapefruit
1 teaspoon cod liver oil
frozen veggies, stir fried in water, in a wok

(this is my lowest protein meal and if it's too low for your taste, add a scoop of protein powder... it's been fine for me so...)

Meal 2
Myoplex shake (I think this is crap too, I don't like fake food, but it's easy and it's got a lot of protein... and after that first low protein meal, I need it...blah blah blah)
apple

Meal 3
black beans 1/3 cup
brown rice 1/2 cup
soy meat 1 serving
1/2 tortilla

Meal 4
protein powder
1 cup skim milk
raw cashews 1 oz

Meal 5
salmon 4 oz
big big salad with fat free organic dressing and 5 olives and 2 tbsp sunflower seeds

Extra meal
This is totally random and doesn't have to do with bodybuilding.
I eat a slice of Ezekial bread, 1/2 tsp honey, 1/2 teaspoon butter, because I think it helps with my creativity, and it's actually got some protein, and I dig honey (okay, I know, it's superstitious) but if you're not a writer and superstitious, this meal is cottage cheese and a nice apple with cinamon and splenda.

Okay, it's been good for me to measure and weigh, and write...that's all I'm saying.
