Default I think it's just really hard to tell

if people aren't specific. I don't want to sound negative or anything, but usually, when I'm holding extra fat, it's that I am eating more calories than I say and working out less than I think and not being really honest with myself about it. I think usually people tend to hold fat because they are eating too much and not too little. You know, eating clean and then hitting the chocolate cake and saying, "oh, I deserve this, I went to the gym today." But really that's blowing the whole workout, at least the way I hit chocolate cake, it's blowing the whole workout....

By the way, lyndab1, I am totally not saying this is you at all....and I don't want to sound like I'm disrespecting your efforts at alll...
I can't tell what might be going on with you because your post isn't soo specific...i'm just saying from what I've seen. I had this one friend who would do back to back spin classes and then eat like solid cheese and tatoes and wonder why????. It took me a long long time to figure out that I was drinking 400 calories in coffee a day and not noticing it....(2 cups, lots of cream and sugar) Like, if I ate that much ice cream, I'd notice it, but for some reason in my brain, coffee didn't count.
