I'd weightlift every day, unless my muscles are too sore at first, then every other day. I haven't been using weights at all, just doing a bit of cardio stuff.
I don't have actual weights, but I'd buy some if necessary, if affordable for me. We have a Bowflex machine (whatever you call it) but I haven't really used it.
