you should see 1lb every 2 weeks. I would try to keep it there cause other wise you are prolly gaining fat. You could easily gain 4lbs a week but the thing is how much of it is fat? i would shoot for 2-4lbs a month max (0.5-1lb per week).
take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Even if its such a small amount as 0.5 pounds a week, after a year thats 24 pounds!!!! that would put you from an average/normal 170 to a either fat 195 or a fit lean beast. Keep goin man and you'll be great even at 0.5lbs a week.
