Plus for the legality. If you pull a knife no matter what happens in a fight YOU are responsible. If you get the **** beat out of you you cannot sue or call the cops and expect them to take action, and if you accidently stab him it's off to jail with you no question.
That doesn't stop me from carrying one though. I am in Richmond. I am well versed with a balisong, and if I need to, I will use it for my own protection. When I have needed to use it I always just use the tang of the knife as a skull basher, I don't stab. But for fights I always go without a weapon.
I can't say this because I am too young, but I remember hearing some older folks talking about a stabbing, and they were talking about how everything used to be settled with fists. The way it should be. Weapons are for pussies in fights.
As for fight stories, I don't have any worth telling. I like play fighting (slap boxing, wrestling with people I know for fun) but fights I avoid. It's not in me to go looking for a fight.
There was one time though, I was at a party a local frat house where I know most the brothers and we are friends. Anyways, I was there with a bro and a few girls, when this shady looking guy comes into the house and walks up to one of the girls. One of the brothers walks up to the guy and asks if he knows anyone in the house, because this is a private thing and not open to strangers. The girl just looks at him like he is a creep and doesn't know him.
He says "Yea, I know THIS *****!" and smacks her. Before the brothers got to him I had already grabbed him by the throat and slammed him up against the nearest wall. The rest of the brothers threw him out the house face first and told him to stay the **** out.
The girl was a dumb broad, and I don't associate with her much, but you NEVER touch a girl like that. I don't care if I dislike the girl getting hit, the guy hitting needs to have the crap beat out of him.
