I had it in both my forearms it was like 6 months before it completely healed. It was very painfull anytime my palms were facing up and I had any weight in my hands. It also would hurt after doing curls, I had to slowly let go of the bar. Seriously, just go crazy light on curls. For example I would just do the bar on standing curls for a couple workouts, then I started adding 5 lbs (2 1/2 on each side) each subsequent workout.
