Atkins diet is BAD imo....what kind of a diet will allow you to eat greasy burgers, bacon, and all crap like that, but you shouldn't eat vegetables or fruit because they have carbs? That's insane. I never understood why people would want to do a diet like that.
Your carbs are your source of energy. You need carbs.
Do you have any weights?
If you want to burn fat, you will need to eat clean - keep your body fueled; lift weights or do some type of resistance workout - because the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn; and do some type of cardiovascular workout - short, high intensity cardio.
Pilates may also help you because if I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to elongate and tone your muscles to give you a leaner appearance. Idunno...I have a few Pilates dvds, but they're still in the wrapper. I just haven't gotten to them yet. They were given to me as a gift, actually.
