Germany actually started WW2 when that peace freak Neville Chamberlain, with his idiotic "apeasement" allowed Germany to reunite with Austria. Then Germany then took control of Czechoslovakia giving the Germans a large amount of tanks. The Germans used Czechoslovakian tanks to a large degree early in the war.

Japan attacked our ally China, which last I checked is an act of war itself. We were free to declare war on them at anytime after that. The American public was against the war, Pearl Harbor finally officially drug us into the conflict.
