Forget about the legal issues. I am more interested in hearing what you all think about people using them. For example:
When I go the gym, I see this dude socializing and tipping back his bottle of water every five seconds, doing the occasional rep at 5% the intensity anyone else in the gym does them at. Yet he is build like a brick sh*t house. I may be going out on a limb here, but I think he's jucing. That makes me feel angry because I have to workout ten times harder and longer to get there. But besides that, I resent his laziness. I resent him taking the easy road. I also think he must be stupid for fu*king up his body.
Yet, I have given a lot of thought to the advantages of doing them. I was conflicted about it for a long time. I have decided that my integrity and my health are more important to me than my vanity. If my son ever asks me, Dad, did you ever do steroids?, I want to be able to truthfully say, No and if you do I will give you the WWF smackdown

I want to be an example of good health and healthy choices.
A friend did them under his doctors watchful eye. My friend looked awesome. I thought, if I were going to do them, I would be just as careful. As I learned, all the doc could do is telling him when and/or how much he was messing up his body. In the end, he stopped doing them. Maybe b/c he was lactating, maybe b/c he grew breasts, maybe b/c he decided it just was not worth it.
I ran into him recently. He looks like a fat red neck! He lost all his looks. He said his testosterone is still sub-normal after a whole year. He is on meds to suppress estrogen. I had made up my mind before learning about all this. Wished I could have looked like him, but I am glad I chose my primary motivation for bodybuilding and cross training to be health and not vanity.
