I take back my earlier statement about a 16 y/o not being able to bench 300+, because since then I have asked several 18-21 y/o looking kids at the gym how old they are and it turns out that lots of them are much younger than they look.
I personally can bench 300+, but i am now 24 and have been working my as* off to get my bench up to 300 since i was 16. That's 8 years!!!
It's just depressing to me that some have such fantastic natural abilities when it comes to benching, and it took me so long.
I guess that's the name of the game though...dedication.
So, any of you teens out there reading this (it is in the teen section) that have crappy max benches, just remember that 300 lbs is possible. Took me 8 years, but it's possible.
Next stop...............400!!!

Wow, 8 years to bench 300 LBS.? I am guessing you did a lot of messing up and lollygaggin if it took you that long to get to 300 LBS. or you have very bad genetics.
