Not all steroids are injectable. injectables are just preferred because they minimize the damage done to the liver and more can get into the system by bypassing the liver. So yes even oral could cause gyno or irritate it.
How you know is little tough because many confuse fat with gyno specially if they had high body fat. Depending on the size, you could tell from the shape or if you feel your breast, do you feel a lump under your nipple. Another way is to see a doctor who can tell you if it is or not.
