Heres why...
When Walmart moves in, it brings with it low prices and everything under one roof. Small local businesses can't compete, going out of business, causing a loss of jobs. These people have to go to Walmart for employment, working at a subsistance level, barely able to pay their bills.
Walmart can only provide those prices by buying from the foreign market, and slaping an all American theme commercial on television.

I agree Sh*tmart is eroding the economy - why - because they continue to presssure supplier to lower their prices, now this of course sounds good ! but for the supplier to lower their prices they need to lower their costs. They do this by relocating production to India etc....purchasing materials from 3rd world countries etc....all these come back to bite us in the ass as we loose jobs etc.....in the long run Sh*tMart and others will degrade economy...
