Not only is Walmart a gathering of the biggest red-necks in town, it also is terrible for small town economies.
Heres why...
When Walmart moves in, it brings with it low prices and everything under one roof. Small local businesses can't compete, going out of business, causing a loss of jobs. These people have to go to Walmart for employment, working at a subsistance level, barely able to pay their bills.
Walmart can only provide those prices by buying from the foreign market, and slaping an all American theme commercial on television.
