Bliksiem, whey can be used to get you the proper amount of protein you need daily with no carbs (or almost no carbs, mine has 1 carb per serving). Use it after working out for quick uptake, and with a low carb diet, or do a cyclic carb diet where you have low/high/no carb days alternating. I do no carb days when not working out, and high carb on heavy workout days.
