Howdy Ya'll,
First a quick bio...
Back many moons ago I use to be a successful power-lifter. Well a back injury took me out of the game (improper warm-up + too much weight = Injury). Then my own fear and laziness kept me from starting back. The problem was I kept eating like I was lifting.
Now at 52 years old I had an epiphany. Getting older and fatter.
Time to go to work!
At my worst I weighed 285 lbs @ 5'11". 44" waist.
When I made the decision during the holidays of 05 to get serious or die, I weighed 278 lbs. 42" waist.
I got out my old Golds Gym Work-Out Encyclopedia and put together a beginner program.
2/06/06 is the beginning of my sixth week of a two year program. I plan on changing the program every eight weeks.
As of now I will be working out at home 6 days a week.
The ultimate goal, 185 lbs 32" waist.
