FIRST off thank you for your quick response and advise.HERE are my stats---i am 5/7 245 i know that number must come down, but i am looking more at losing BF and keeping as much LBM as i can.MY last BF measure was 14%,i have between 200 and 220 grm.protien a day 200 grm.carbs 70grm.fat.I use WHEY protien with 1table spoon low fat yogurt and 8 once milk post workout, the fat that i have comes from almonds, olive oil and natural P.B.MOST of my carbs are from veggies and fruit as i had said, i also have oat meal 2/3 cup pre workout with protien and sweet potato post workout.THAT is all the starchy carbs i have.MY workouts are high intensity and i vary my rest time between sets,i do no more then 6 sets per body part.I also change my workouts every 6to 7 weeks and work each body part 2 to 3 times a week,my cheat meal is whole wheat pasta or pizza with a salad. I hope this helps you help me.=======ONE DAY I HOPE TO COMPETE IN BB.

So let me get this straight, youre 65 years old and 245lbs with only 14% bodyfat?
Im calling bullsh!t. Those are IFBB pro heavyweight bodybuilder stats bud. Post up a pic so we can more accurately evaluate your bodyfat. its the only way we can give you accurate diet advice. If youre truly 245lbs at 14%(which i know youre not, i honestly wouldnt be surprised if youre in the 30% range) then 200g of protein per day is not nearly enough, more like 300-350 otherwise muscle would be falling of you at a record pace. Also with those stats you would be by far the biggest guy, regardless of age, on this board and many other i frequent. And the truth of the matter is nobody gets that big by accident, yet you dont seem to have the first clue what youre doing. Theres just so many things here that dont add up.

Yes I think you are way off on the numbers Michael.
I thought that myself when I read this earlier, that there was no way you were 245 lbs at only 14% bodyfat. That would be a real big dude. Abs start showing at 12%, so this would mean you have hardly any fat on your body at all and yet you weigh 245 lbs. Agan, thats massive. Here's a guy right around 13-14% bodyfat (my guess at least) and is probably only around 220 lbs...So just picture him with 25 lbs of more fat on him...Oh, and he's chemically assisted as well!

I've just gotta ask why BGLD has 1/2 naked pics of dudes laying around that he can post up?
Also - I'm not buying the 5'7, 245 at 14% BF. I'm 6'1'', 246, and around 20-21% BF, and to be 6 inches shorter and in the low teens, you'd be a WIDE MF with ALOT of lifting knowledge, experience, etc. I had to drop down to 210 or so to be in the 13-14% range....so I just ain't buying it based on the height/weight ratio you are discussing. If you were 6'7" - then maybe. Pics are worth a 100,000,000 words. (hundred million). |

Based on his stats if he were to cut down for a competition he would be roughly 220lbs at 4% bodyfat. And at 65 years of age nonetheless.
Yeah right.
