If you lift 4 days a week, you shouldnt be doing cardio twice a day - thats overkill. If your trying to get rid of fat then adjust your diet first then cardio, and find a happy medium. And no one can tell you "how long" you can do this?? Listen to your body, I'm assuming 4 days of weights, if its intense training and not p*ssy lifting, and cardio 2 times a day will BURN YOU OUT soon.

I agree, if you can't keep the fat off with 4-5 cardio a week then your nutrition IS too good. With me I know it's a lot harder than it used to be to keep it off. I'm 61. I eat good but my biggest problem is I like Jack Daniels too much.

If you dont have your diet in check you will never know what is workin for you and whats not....you cardio it up all day and go no where without fueling the machine (your body) the right way. I see alot of people get discouraged beacuse they think thier progress is too sssllloowww, but thats what they get for not paying attention to the diet. Some cheating is ok, but the majority of your fat loss should come from your diet then cardio / weights.
