I always work out in the evenings. Six to eight meals a day (small quantities) and you can work out most any time. Balance your diet with an increase in protein (1/2 to 1 gram per pound of body weight...anymore than that is wasted) and some carbohydrates since protein requires carbs to process. Make sure you are drinking a minimum of 64 oz. (or more) of water every day and drink a little between sets.

No. Bench, squat, and deadlift should be the CORE of any exercise routine. Lunges are a great accessory, but are not going to provide the same benefit as doing a true ATG squat. Nobody said he needs to squat 405, but I would rather see someone doing a lower weight squat ATG with proper form than doing lunges. If you are serious about weight training, then you want AT LEAST 1gm protein per pound of bodyweight, 1.5-2 is better. Where are you getting that more than that is wasted? With a proper diet your body can easily use that much, especially when trying to repair muscles. The important thing is to make sure it's a balance of the three (carbs, protein, fats). And 1/2 gallon is not enough water - shoot for at least 1 gallon.
Why are you dragging up all these old threads?
