If purely fat loss is your goal then change your diet NOW. * Eat more lean meats, good carbs and lots of veggies, no junk food, fried foods or soda. * Start doing more intense cardio than walking....jogging, running or sprinting would be nice, but a exercise bike or stairmaster will do. * Start lifting some weights ~ Every pound of muscle you add, burns 50 more calories in a given day..More lean muscle, more calories burned, less fat hanging around for the ride It's a simple formula.. well once you allow the mind to comprehend what needs to be done and how bad you want it |

What they said - and another harp on don't neglect lower body workouts.
Heck - split it into two workouts, upper body and lower body. Before you know it, you'll be altering those and be right back into it. Diet is key. Lean meats, veggies, fruits, cut processed foods, sugars, etc. Most of all - good luck and very sorry about Katrina and the major impact on your life that must've had. Way to bounce back.

triple bump... lol. I was talking to some guy at the gym the other day who hasn't done any lower body in 2 years. Why the hell would he do that.. Don't neglect any bodypart!
And diet it part of the whole picture.. Sorry to hear about Katrina. My Dad was in the area when it hit and I think he wound up in Texas. I never got to speak to him when this happened but learned about it through his other children. Good luck! |
