I know the stuff is high in fat but they make a grapeseed version that is supposed to improve your lipid profile. I actually have a better lipid profile now than I did when I ate low fat!! I make sure it's healthy fat though. I get smartspread omega margarine, use flax oil, omega 3 fish oil w epa and stuff, peanut butter, and veganaise.
You have to account for the calories of course. I used to think that fats were evil but have found out differant. The veganaise is actually better than real mayo believe it or not (there are not eggs so techncially it's not a "mayo", it's a "spread".) and I put on a couple pounds before I learned to control myself.
