Thanks for the info dnyc99. I am going to take a shot at it - the odds are worth it. I currently use cocoa butter w/shea everyday after shower and b4 bed - seeing a bit of improvment.

My biggest problem is that these are mature scars, got them in my teens around 14-15 and I am 24 now :'( and the odds of getting rid of them are against me. Most of it is around my shoulders.

Back then I didnt have the internet to research nor the money to talk to a dermatologist - but my family doc. said I am doomed to have em forever.

I have done some research and found 2 possible treatments for mature scars:
1) Permanent makeup - kinda like tattooing.
2) A new laser that apparently stimulates the process of skin pigmentation to make it appear the same skin tone as the surrounding area.

I dont think either are cheap but I thought i share this with others who are in the same boat as me.
