Your body's needs now are different from what they were even a few years ago. Your metabolism slows down as you age so the diet and exercise that maintained your weight before will not do it now. Not to mention people tend to become less active as they age (or simply switch from being an active student to a sedentary office worker, for example).
If you already know that all that's required is to eat less and be more active, do that!
The only other advice being proferred here is to increase your resting metabolic rate by increasing the percentage of your mass that's lean muscle. If you don't want to do that - then eat less and take more exercise. Unfortunately, there is no quick, magic formula.
