hey i'm new here but not new to weight training and eating healthy. I'm 18 years old and my mom has battled weight loss for a long time and I got her genes unfortunatley. I'm only 4" 11' so that makes it even harder as well because techincally with my weight and height i'm off all those dr's charts and obese. Everyone has told me "muscle weights more then fat and so that's why u don't look ur weight"..and i know that's true but i was so upset after my dr's appointment recently when she told me I was gonna be this way forever that I calcualted my body fat percentage. It said i was obese too.
Well my mom got into weight training w/ a personal trainer about 5 years ago so I started a stricter eating program and more intense work out plan then what i was doing and he is looking over my plan for me. I'm just really frustrated and this seems to have alot of information. Thanks.
