I got my first set of weights when I was 9 and lifted religiously till about the age of 19. I was reading muscle and fitness, taking Weider supplements... that tasted awefull...the works, 5 days a week. I got married young to a very sedentary women who could cook and got real fat and out of shape. The marriage ended years ago but the bad eating habit didn't and while I lost a considerable ammount of weight after the divorce I haven't trained with much discipline since my teens. I've been back in the gym for two weeks now...finally getting to the point where recovery takes place in a day instead of a week...and got my bench back up to 300 already

...but everyone should be able to bench their weight right?..so its not that big a deal. I'm a big guy though and when I was very fit, working in an iron foundry about seven years ago, I was only able to get down to 250 lbs. I consider that my ideal weight since I was back to wearing the size pants I wore in high school where my football playing wieght was 215.
BTW is that your picture ezmer?...If so you must be pro huh?
