Hey folks,
I'm wondering if i would benifit from takin a tribulus terrestris product. Just wondering if they are worth the money and if there are any side-effects that would put me off usin it. In one add for it, there is a small note that says 'Please note: Some people may experience a libido increase using this product' surely that cant be a bad thing 
Any advice guys

I'm lookin in particular at getting Biotest Tribex 500, but it says this is best taking with Andro after a prohormone cycle. What does all this mean?
Is Tribex 500 sh it on its own?

No Tribex 500 isn't shi t on its own. hehehe... it's actually really good. Just ask dbat.
The main reason why its recomended to take with andro prohormone is for the extra boost in TT lvls. tribex 500 is mainly avena sativa (oat) and trib (herb) mixed. avena frees up bound TT and trib increases your natural production of TT by increase LH. andro (or diol) are precursors to TT and taking these together increases the effectiveness.
and taking trib (or tribex) with andro helps reduce the loss in sex drive. andro tends to lower your naturual TT production, while trib helps increase your naturual TT production, so they tend to offset each other, and your loss in sex drive is lessened. exactly by how much trib offsets the loss in natural production of TT, I'm not sure of...

If i used the Tribex 500 without cycling andro (i wanna avoid that stuff), will I still see some good results. And most importantly, it will help my sex drive instead of hindering it ? (Not that it needs any help )

yeah, i'd think tribex will do you some good even by itself. of course make sure youre getting nuf of the other stuff like protein/glutamine/creatine etc...
and it'll most likely increase your sexdrive.  soooooo.... find urself a few honies. hehehe

Well, think i'll be trying out the old Tribex 500 then. That will hopefully add to my gains. I'm gettin quite a list of supps here : Protein/creatine/HMB/Glutamine and now tribulus. Hope its all worth the feckin money!

that's a respectable stack there barrie... just keep eating like a pig (only eat 'good' stuff ) and making sure you get enough protien and you'll be on your way. I've heard that HMB is really really good to start taking if you're new to the scene but it's benefits aren't noticable in a highly developed atheletes (that's what it said in this months M&F anyways)

Not gonna use the vanadyl till i'm ready cut, like u suggested in another post.
I'm trying to get more and more protein from food rather than supps (trying to make the supps last that bit longer )
Cant wait to get it all started

I'd say let me know how the vanadyl sulphate goes for you but lol I doubt you'll be able to notice with all that other stuff. when I start cutting I was gonna go after some vanadyl sulphate but i've been hearing that ALA/r-ALA mix is better so I'm gonna go after that.

Got my tribex 500 this morning
Says on the bottle i should take three caps once or twice a day. If i take it twice a day the bottle will last two bloody weeks! Will i see any results from taking it once a day or should i just sod the cash and take it twice a day?
oh, and the bastards have ran out of vanadyl 
need to change supplier, thats twice they'v ran out of stuff. I'm still waiting on my HMB, Glutamine and Myoplex from them

I'm not too terribly familiar w/ the product, but if you could let me know exactly what is in each serving or whatever (how many mgs of each) you might be able to get away with taking it like 2 in the morning and 1 midday or something.

Hey, you might be able to make your own trib/avena stack for cheaper if you can find a supplier that sells avena. Take them in equal proportions as tribex...
Not sure how this would work though, never tried myself.  But trib and avena are the main ingredients in tribex.
Just a thought.
But that might be hard... I duno of any that sells avena
