I sometimes feel like i'm going to chunder after a hard work out, bit weird. And also, i'm gonna sound like a real freak here, but sometimes, if my shoulders/neck/ or traps are hurting bad, i get a kinda sick feeling. Maybe i'm just abnormal. Baz

In my old gym the leg work out area was down stairs... after grilling your legs then trying to get back up made you know how old people feel! i was clinging to the banister for dear life!

I know exactly what you mean, there were a couple of times this summer when i was with my trainer that he would push us so hard that I had to sit and collect myself. this happened on almost every leg day and once on shoulder, traps, and back day (a weird mix I know).... I actually did horf outside the gym that day.

seated calf raise? its where you sit on a lil seat and a bar/pad is placed across you thighs and you raise your heels the same as you would with the standing calf raises. Its a killer! its better for your spine too, too much compressive force acting down with your standing raises. Don't forget to go as heavy as poss, i can whack out about 160kg standing.

My friends conned me into going to this fart arse joint called david llyod, way to fitness/spa for my liking. prefer my old gym but the others find it very hard to get to. Some ponce swinging 1.5kg dumbells back and forth thinking he's "the man" some old bint running on the treadmill but she stops after 5 mins as sweat will ruin her make up she slapped on to impress the others! I love my gym, can't you tell?!

Ever heard of Esporta Bulk? (www.esporta.com) Its far too posh, sounds like the one u go to. Good thing is, there's a lot of MILF about, some very tasty ladies But, along with it, there's always loads people poncing about on the equipment, wasting time. Really gets my back up when folk hog the equipment. I mind one time, this guy was sitting on a bench, doin absolutley nothing, but with 4 sets of dumbells at his feet! What a prick! Hate folk like that. Def gonna change gym (when i can afford it)

heh I uppsed the weight/reps on my legs on monday, d**n near got stuck squatting on my 8th (final) rep with 365. went down to the proper depth, and kinda just hungout there for a while, about 2 full seconds before I started slowly slowly moving up. was a great push though.

might try lunges... my routine which I'm really happy with and makes it so you can't walk down stairs goes as follows: squats 4-5 sets (depending on how I feel) leg extensions 3 very heavy sets ( 12 10 8 ) negatives on leg press (3 sets of 7, 12 second duration) lunges 3 sets (12 12 12) leg curls 2 sets heavy (12 10) leg curls drop set (drop the weight 3x to go to failure) THEN I move on to calves, takes me about an hour and a half
